DVD KATA Volume 1

Released November 2005

Out now on general release is Kata DVD Volume 1 (Heian/Pinan Series & Bunkai). All participants are flying out to Tenerife on the 16th February to film the next two installments and hopefully volumes 2 and 3 will be out in the Spring 2006.

Already the feedback from customers buying the first volume have been impressive and we hope to keep up the good standards already set.

DVD KATA Volumes 2 & 3

Released December 2006

Taking longer than anticipated the eagerly awaited volume 2 and 3 are now out on general release. The success of volume 1 was so great we had many Emails asking when the next volume/s were going to become available. Glad to say that these are out and are even better than the first in the format and brand new menu system with picture in picture detail on volume 3.

Tekki/Naihanchi Series & Bassai Dai/Sho series. 

DVD KATA Volume 4

Filming has now finished on this fourth title in the series. Kanku Dai and Sho from Shotokan, Kushanku from Wado Ryu and Kushanku Dai and Sho from Shito Ryu (also known as Kosokun). Release date 21st November 2007...

Great examples of bunkai shown for the first time on all of the above kata.

Jion, Jitte, Jiin Series will be filmed in February 2008

Kazoku Kai Pinan/Heian Continuous Bunkai

Just released recently, chief instructor of Kazoku Kai (Derek Ridgway) has recently produced his specialized continuous bunkai (fighting sequences) based on the 5 x Pinan/Heian kata. An excellent way of practicing these five junior kata in a fighting way. Picture and ordering information to be added to this site soon.
